Every time I run I wonder if what I am thinking it normal. Do other people think the things I do? Yes, running is a physical thing. But, I feel like that is only 10% of the equation. The other 90% is purely a mental thing.
So, I decided to share my stream of consciousness with you. My brain is an interesting place…you’re welcome! I pretty much have this same conversation with myself every time I run.

I have been on a roll lately with the training for my upcoming 10-miler and half marathon. So, I thought I would share what my training schedule looks like! If you’re interested take a look, print out the calendars, and let’s run together!
Of all the workout accessories I have purchased Goodr Sunglasses have been my favorite. I found out about them when I was at my local running shop – Charm City Run. I am a sucker for a good pair of sunglasses and I saw these on the counter while I was buying my running shoes. I convinced myself at the time that I didn’t need another pair of sunglasses…but, then I went home and did a little research.
This past Sunday I ran my first 10K!! I have been working on my running over the past few months and completed a 5K not too long along. I was working toward this particular 10K because I feel like if you are from Maryland this is the one to do – Across the Bay 10K.
So, If you have been following the blog for a bit you have seen my running journey. It all started in June when I decided I should train to run a 5K. Well, I completed C25K at the end of July. But, now what? What is the next chapter in my running story? Here is an update!
