While on the Ideal Protein plan I am not supposed to drink alcoholic beverages. Most of these drinks have a ton of sugar and calories…and to be honest I would rather eat my calories than drink them anyway.
But, what are you supposed to do in social situations when you are choosing not to drink? Happy hours, dates, dinners, going out with friends, dinner parties usually all include some sort of beverage!
I have become quite the master at just not drinking alcoholic beverages. The most important thing to remember is this: All the occasions where you would go out and drink are really set up so that you can interact and be with friends, family, coworkers, etc. So, instead of concentrating on the drinks, concentrate on those around you!
