New Year’s Resolutions: 2019

Happy New Year!!

With a new year there comes new goals and resolutions to make 2019 the best year yet. No matter whether you call them goals, aspirations, or resolutions it doesn’t matter. They allow you to work toward something and (hopefully) feel a sense of achievement this time next year.

I decided to share my resolutions with all of you this year so I have some accountability. I have some big ones to check off the list and I want to make sure I am able to get them done. Healthy Road Trip: Wilmington, NC

Being healthy on a road trip can be hard…you spend long hours in a car with nothing to do…there are convenience stores and fast food along the way…I get it!! However, it can be done! With a little preparation and a plan to stay active while you are away it will be like you never left the comfort of your daily routine!

Keeping Your Head in the Game

Lately, I have been having trouble keeping my head in the game of weight loss. I have been at this for a while now, with plenty of success. But, I would have to say things have slowed down over the past few months.

I think when you have a lot of weight to lose gearing up for the long haul, in the beginning, is one thing…but what happens after 6 months, 1 year, etc. My feeling toward the process has definitely ebbed and flowed.
